Let’s break the ice.
I am a writer of Adult Fantasy with a dash-and-a-half of Romance. My current project is a trilogy debuting with THE HEART PEDDLER, the novel I am querying. I also have 15 years of martial arts experience and teach self-defense at my public library.
My backstory began in a tiny hamlet, aptly named Marshville, where I spent country summers pretending to be a dragon and writing stories in my handy-dandy notebook. My twin brother and I spent hours catching hapless turtles in the pond, and on rainy days, building stories together out of Legos. I fiercely guarded my parents’ house from guinea hens - which I chased from our yard. You’re welcome, Mom and Dad!
Now, I am a biologist-turned-nursing student with a dream to become a traditionally published fantasy author who delivers babies on the side. I am here for all the creative, subtly Tolkien-inspired baby names!

Married to the man who would make any reader swoon, my husband and I play an undisclosed amount of Skyrim.
I am a survivor of dating violence and abuse, and an out-and-proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. Someday, I hope to be strong enough to help others heal through my characters.
The Heart Peddler is a 128,000-word adult fantasy quest in which a darkly mysterious thief must join forces with a magical princess to find and steal a golden heart.
Featuring an anatomical religion and magic system, this tale will intrigue readers who pine for the male perspective and fans of thieving heists set in a nonwestern world.

Odel Bradenday, the best of his trade, finds himself on the wrong side of a debt to a fire-breathing dragon and must pay the heart that is owed... or endure an eternity of enslavement. What he did not expect was becoming employed by the Imperial Princess and embarking on a much grander journey. She wants the heart of her late betrothed back and laid to rest, and Odel is going to get it for her. If he succeeds, she will marry him, crowning Odel as the next Emperor. But unbeknownst to her, Odel was the one who peddled the prince’s heart in the first place, and now he must get it back.
While battling with his identity as magic unravels before him, Odel and the Princess keep secrets from one another in an epic tale of love, faith, and self-exploration on a thieving quest across the Empire of Gladius.
The legend of the Dragonborn is one we all know... but we must not forget all the other tales which inspire the songs ringing through the Bards College.

I use this platform as the training ground for my writing. I post short stories here which focus on underappreciated characters in The Elder Scrolls lore.
Combining in-game characters, locations, mechanics, and events with my own imagination, these tales show you what may have happened when the Dragonborn was off on a different adventure.
